Welcome to my blog!

I’m Rebecca – a social media fanatic and a crackberried smitten blonde living in downtown Toronto. I’m terrible with directions, am on Facebook more times than I feel okay mentioning and in my perfect world I would wear wear my hair in a high pony everyday (even though I know it looks fugly). I’m also pretty much a total rookie in the big city. I was raised north of the city in a small town that most people have never heard of…but if you must know yes there are farms, cows and I could sometimes hear coyotes from my backyard at night. Now in the big city I live with one of my best friends nicknamed Thing 1 (yeah I’m Thing 2) and we live in a village full of rainbows. And I love it.

I graduated from McMaster University in the Spring of 2011 with a double major in Communications and English. Now I go to Centennial College studying Journalism…and you can only imagine how hard it is from crunching out hundreds of essays to news pieces. And if you can’t just imagine breaking one of your bad habits like nail-biting or booger picking…it’s hard. My passion is writing which is why I’m pursuing a journalistic career but I also love photography. I want to graduate working (fingers crossed) in an environment where I write about entertainment, arts&lifestyle, fashion and trendy stuff. I live for hearing and telling stories.

I also work at the very trendy and equally delicious Joey right in Dundas Square. I eat there every shift and by some miracle I am not 3000 lbs yet. Seriously though, the sushi cones, gyoza, flatbreads…well everything is to die for. Come eat!

This is my first blog so go easy on the judgment but I’m hoping it will push me into the ever expanding and popular blogosphere until I inevitably get a career and become a millionaire (What up Oprah!). So enjoy browse chill love it hate it live laugh love smile cheers \
